Help us help Bali..

If you know our story.. you will know that about 4 years ago we started working with our beautiful factory family in Bali. After a couple of visits to their house (because that is what they work out of, a big beautiful house), we began our professional relationship with them.
Owned and managed by Australians, they are small batch manufacture, made up of a small and diverse team, ensuring great working conditions and wages.
The team have weekly exercise classes, prayer breaks, 1 hour lunch breaks, paid overtime, sick leave, annual leave and annual bonuses. They also run many thoughtful initiatives to minimise waste, including scraps of fabric being made into blankets and donated to people in need and all packaging being bio degradable (so no plastic)!
As you may be aware, the beautiful Island of Bali is still struggling from the devastation of Covid-19. Approximately 80% of the island's income comes from tourism. This means that although our factory family are fortunate to still be in work, many of them are not just supporting themselves, but are supporting extended family members that have been affected by COVID tourism shutdowns.
The factory family's COVID Relief Fund supports direct members of their team that have been hit hard - by providing a box per week of basic supplies for them and their families which include tofu, eggs, rice, oil and vegetables which feeds a family for a week.

We have, and will continue to donate to our Bali factory family, but we hoped to do more.. and it seemed logical to let our beautiful customers also have the opportunity to help them.
Each box of basic supplies costs $10 USD (approx $15 AUD). We have decided for each AW21 ladies item sold (below) we will donate this amount - so each item you are buying for yourself or a friend, you are also donating a basic box of supplies to the factory family and their relatives. We will do this for the rest of September, 2021.
If you would prefer not to buy, and/or to donate directly, please go to S&F Ethical Garment Manufacturing: Donate (siobhanandnuala.com).
Thank you, Beck and Han. Xo
